A PRACTICAL NEXT STEP

Read what average FPS misses

Use the timeline and slow-frame statistics to investigate uneven delivery.

Your working checklist

0 / 4 steps completed
  1. Use a frame capture tool such as PresentMon and export CSV. The browser test measures this page’s animation cadence; it cannot capture a separate desktop game.

  2. Choose the baseline CSV in the analyzer. If the file contains multiple applications or swap chains, select the game’s intended stream before reading the report.

  3. Higher frame-time spikes mean longer intervals in this capture. Check when they occur and what happened in the scene. A low average frame time does not exclude occasional pauses.

  4. Add an after-change CSV and review average FPS, 1% low and the timeline together. Repeat runs before drawing conclusions; an imported file does not prove an optimizer caused the difference.

Progress and notes stay in this browser. Capture files are not saved. Export a copy to keep your record.
