A PRACTICAL NEXT STEP
Know the PC you are testing
Build a useful hardware record before selecting software or borrowing someone else’s preset.

Your working checklist
0 / 4 steps completedOpen Settings → System → About. Note the processor, installed RAM, system type and Windows edition/build. Do not include your device ID or product key in a shared report.
Use Task Manager’s Performance view to identify the active GPU and drives. Record the graphics driver version from its control panel and note the game’s installation drive.
Read the game publisher’s requirements and the optimizer publisher’s current compatibility notes. Hardware detection alone does not establish that every control is available.
Record laptop power connection, display refresh rate, cooling mode and external displays. Use the same conditions for the next capture rather than changing drivers mid-comparison.
Progress and notes stay in this browser. Capture files are not saved. Export a copy to keep your record.
