Recover from a worse result

   Stop and preserve the evidence

   Keep both capture files and note the exact symptom: slower frames, a crash, missing audio or broken input. Record the last change and whether a restart occurred.

2. 02

   Revert the last recorded setting

   Use the same setting control to restore its old value. If a batch was applied, use its documented recovery procedure and record which changes could actually be undone.

3. 03

   Repeat the original test

   Use the baseline scene, resolution and capture length. Verify voice, input and other essential apps as well as frame-time results.

4. 04

   Escalate with a useful record

   If the problem remains, export the checklist and share versions, changed values and reproducible steps with the relevant publisher. Remove private paths and account details first.
